Matthew 6:13-15
Every day, an invisible battle rages around us and within us. We face an enemy who seeks to destroy, a world that pulls us away from God, and a flesh that often betrays us from within. Yet Jesus teaches His disciples to pray, “Do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Why would He tell us to pray this if God never tempts anyone? What does this request reveal about the heart of our Father? This Sunday, we will discover a God who protects His children, provides a way of escape in every temptation, and delivers His people from the power of the evil one. We will also see why those who have received God's forgiveness must become people who extend forgiveness to others. Join us as we explore the God who rescues, protects, forgives, and faithfully leads His children through the battle until they stand victorious in Christ.
