Like Father Like Son

This Father's Day, we celebrate the men who lead, provide, protect, and sacrifice for their families. But what if God has called fathers to something even greater? In John 1:45–46, Philip encounters Jesus and immediately goes to find Nathanael. Why? Because when a man is truly changed by Christ, he cannot keep Him to himself. In a world where men are consumed with careers, success, money, sports, and comfort, God is calling fathers back to the front lines of the greatest mission on earth—the ministry of reconciliation. Will we resemble our Heavenly Father, who sent His Son to seek and save the lost? Or will we be like the rich man who waited until eternity to care about the souls of those he loved?
