Matthew 7:13-14 Part 2

What kind of God looks upon sinful, rebellious people and says, “I love them”? What kind of Father says, “I will not forget you. I have loved you with an everlasting love. You are precious in My sight”? What kind of love would cause the Father to send His only Son, and the Son to willingly bear the debt we could never pay? Scripture gives us an answer almost too wonderful to comprehend: “You… loved them, even as You have loved Me.” And then Jesus prays, “Father, I desire that they also… be with Me where I am.” He wants you with Him. That is the heart behind the invitation. That is the love behind the narrow gate. The Father is calling His children home. And Jesus says… ENTER.
